My first and best portrait. The simplest thing I've ever done has proven to be the hardest to follow up. I've never put it on this paper, and now that I have, I love it!

This is the one that led to all the Hadestown stuff. Anaïs Mitchell told me that it had been hanging in her kitchen for a few years, and she thought, "That could be Persephone!" This led to me doing portraits of the other principal players in the story that took Broadway by storm.
